Leg Aesthetic

Leg Aesthetic
With leg aesthetics, you can have legs that look aesthetically pleasing to your body structure. Leg aesthetics include thinning, thickening, and bow leg operations.
Leg aesthetics is an attempt for women to have a muscular and smooth leg appearance in thin and elegant men. Leg aesthetics aims to eliminate the disproportion in the legs and make them look aesthetic.
What is Leg Aesthetic?
One of the important components of body beauty for women is to have a smooth and aesthetic-looking leg. If the legs are too thick, too thin, asymmetrical, or crooked, it can cause an uncomfortable appearance and this may result in a loss of self-confidence in the person. It is mentioned that the legs have some regional aesthetic problems. Aesthetic leg problems such as excessively thin ankles and protrusions in the knees do not cover the entire leg.
Many women who suffer from problems such as crookedness and curvature in their legs complain of not being able to wear everything they want. However, nowadays, not only women but also men attach importance to body aesthetics. Operations for leg aesthetics such as leg thinning and bow leg treatment are now attracting the attention of men as well as women.
What are the Common Leg Aesthetic Problems?
Various leg aesthetic problems cause an aesthetically unsuitable appearance on the legs and psychologically disturb people. The most common of these;
- Too thin or thick legs
- Bandy-legs
- Asymmetrical legs: Two legs different in thickness from each other.
- X leg: Leg deformity seen as knees closer to each other than normal
- It can be listed as a leg (leg deformation where knees move away from each other).
Some aesthetic problems in the legs may also have emerged as a result of important health problems. Many health problems can manifest themselves with deformities in the legs. Leg deformities such as X leg, O leg, and crooked legs can be seen in individuals who did not go to the sun during childhood and did not make sufficient vitamin D. Again, the congenital leg anomaly called “club foot” must be treated by surgery. Deformities in the legs may occur as a result of polio disease that can occur in children who are not vaccinated.
What is Crooked Leg? How is the Treatment Done?
A crooked leg may occur due to problems in the leg bones, or it is the result of the disproportionate distribution of fat in the legs. Bowleg problem, which is seen due to the curvature of the bones, is a condition often caused by insufficient vitamin D intake in childhood. In both cases, treatment is based on obtaining a symmetrical appearance with fat transfer. If necessary in the treatment, excess fat accumulations that cause disproportion are removed by methods such as liposuction.
The treatment performed by removing the excess fat in the body by liposuction method and injecting it to other places where it is needed is called fat transfer. Fat transfer treatments are generally permanent for a lifetime. Synthetic filler injections called hyaluronic acid are used in patients who do not have enough fat in their bodies for transfer therapy.
How is Leg Thinning Aesthetic Done?
Leg fats, which resist intense sports and diet programs for upper leg or lower leg melting, can be treated aesthetically with the liposuction method. Liposuction, which is applied for leg thinning, can be performed for thinning the lower leg or upper leg, depending on the problem area with fat accumulation. The areas where liposuction is planned are marked before the procedure can be done in the right places. Then, a solution containing local anesthetic is injected into the relevant areas, which dissolves the fat and provides regional numbness.
What is Skinny Leg Aesthetic? How is it Done?
The aesthetic leg problem, which is characterized by the fact that the legs are extra thin than normal, is called skinny leg. Skinny leg aesthetics aims to make the legs plump. For this purpose, implants are used or fat transfer is performed. If there is not enough fat in the body that can be used for the transfer process, it will be necessary to use an implant. Implant sizes are determined according to the needs of the person and placed in the relevant areas. This surgery is applied with general anesthesia. It is recommended to rest for 7 days after the procedure. At the end of this period, walks should be started. Implants can be uncomfortable at first, and it usually takes a few months to get used to them.
Patella Aesthetic
Since the knee circumference is at the transition point of the thigh and leg, this region must be evaluated to provide aesthetic visual integrity. Lubrication in the inner area of the knee distorts the silhouette of the leg, making the leg appear shorter. The visual appearance of this area comes to the fore when the skirt is worn. In knee area aesthetics, excesses in the inner area are removed. In deficiencies, additions are made to achieve a visual whole form with the leg. The approximate operation time of this region is 1 hour. When the increase in fat in the inner part of the knee or the crooked leg deformities are corrected, the upper leg and the lower leg are more balanced and compatible with each other. This situation makes the person’s height and leg length appear longer.
How is the Recovery Process After Leg Aesthetic Surgery?
Leg aesthetic surgery is generally performed applied 1.5-2 hours with general anesthesia. Although there is no severe pain after the operation, swelling, redness, and edema can be seen in the applied area. This is due to the general condition of the operation and is not a cause for concern. On the fourth day after the surgery, normal life can be returned, but movements such as crossing the legs, sitting with the leg bent under the butt, leg swinging or leg shaking should be avoided. Since the legs are in the lower part of the body and are obliged to lift the whole body weight, the recovery period takes approximately 2 months accordingly. After the operation, you should wear the compression stockings recommended by the physician for about 1 month. Thanks to this special stocking, edema formation in the legs are prevented and the new form of the legs is kept smooth.
